Helping her to those totals was a great last weekend, tallying nine runs, nine hits, one double, one triple, four home runs and 17 runs batted in, helping defeat Jefferson 13-3/15-3 and SUNY Adirondack 16-0/19-0 at home. She hit .563 in those four games.
“We are thrilled that Elyssa was recognized with this month's Green and Gold Athlete of the Month award,” said Head Softball Coach PJ Anadio. “She is having a monster season so far and has been a fearsome leader on the field. She has that unique blend of size, athleticism, speed and power that every coach looks for. Elyssa is a prototypical five tool player and I’m just happy that she’s in our lineup come game days and not someone else’s!”
