Parker Forrest, November Athlete of the Month

Herkimer Generals Men’s Swimmer Parker Forrest Named Herkimer Generals Green & Gold Player of the Month for November

Herkimer, NY — Herkimer College is proud to announce that freshman swimmer Parker Forrest, a Business Administration major from Palatine Bridge, NY, has been named the Green & Gold Player of the Month for November.

Forrest delivered an outstanding month in the pool, showcasing consistency, competitiveness, and standout versatility across multiple events. Over the course of three meets in November, he recorded:

  • Two 2nd-place finishes in the 50-yard breaststroke
  • 1st and 2nd-place finishes in the 50-yard freestyle
  • A 2nd-place finish in the 50-yard butterfly
  • A 4th-place finish in the 100-yard individual medley

Head Coach Lane Lanckton praised Forrest’s dedication, noting his strong work ethic and steady improvement throughout the month. “Parker has shown tremendous commitment to our program,” Lanckton said. “His drive in training and his competitive spirit in meets make him a deserving recipient of this honor.”

Forrest’s achievements have been instrumental in the team’s early-season success, setting a strong tone for the remainder of the year.
