Syracuse, NY-- The second seeded Herkimer Generals traveled to Onondaga Community College today to compete in game one of the Region III Championship tournament versus the third seeded Mohawk Valley Hawks. Herkimer played ahead throughout the game. #23 Tyquan Scott (Long Beach, NY) led his team in scoring and rebounds earning a double-double with 20 points and 13 rebounds. He was also a force to be reckoned with on defense as he stuffed the Hawks with five blocks. Another double digit scorer for the Generals was #21 Felix Riascos (Poughkeepsie, NY) hitting three three-point shots and sinking a couple extra for 11 total points. The Generals advance to the Regional Championship game to face the host team Onondaga Lazers Sunday at 6:30 p.m.
