Generals Softball Earns Conference and Region Honors
HERKIMER, N.Y. – The Herkimer Generals softball program continued to receive recognition for a successful season as four players earned All-Mountain Valley Conference honors, while two Generals were selected to the NJCAA Region 3 All-Region Team.
HERKIMER, N.Y. – The Herkimer Generals softball program continued to receive recognition for a successful season as four players earned All-Mountain Valley Conference honors, while two Generals were selected to the NJCAA Region 3 All-Region Team.
Herkimer was represented by some of the top players in the conference, highlighted by sophomore catcher Alexis Broderick being named Mountain Valley Conference Player of the Year. Head Coach Stalteri was also honored by her peers as the Mountain Valley Conference Coach of the Year for her leadership and guidance throughout the season.
Broderick led a talented group of Generals earning conference recognition. The sophomore catcher was named First Team All-Mountain Valley Conference, joining teammates Autumn Roberts and Olivia Perry on the first team.

Broderick and Perry continued their postseason recognition by earning NJCAA Region 3 All-Region honors.

Broderick was a force both offensively and defensively throughout the season, providing power, consistency, and leadership behind the plate. Perry anchored the Generals pitching staff, delivering numerous dominant performances in the circle, including multiple double-digit strikeout outings.
The postseason awards reflect the hard work and dedication of the Generals softball program and recognize the impact these student-athletes made throughout the season.
