Generals Earn Postseason Honors

The Herkimer County Community College women's basketball program was well represented in the postseason awards this year, with several Generals earning recognition from both the Mountain Valley Conference and NJCAA Region 3.

Freshman guards Neveah Spencer and Amiya Carter were both named First Team All-Mountain Valley Conference after standout seasons leading the Generals on both ends of the floor. Spencer and Carter consistently paced Herkimer offensively while providing veteran leadership throughout the season.

Spencer also earned First Team All-NJCAA Region 3 honors, recognizing her as one of the top players in the region. Her ability to score, defend, and control the tempo made her a key piece of the Generals' success this season.

Carter added another postseason accolade with a selection to the Second Team All-NJCAA Region 3 squad. Her all-around play and consistency throughout the year helped Herkimer compete against some of the top programs in the region.

Freshman Ava Nicholson was recognized with Third Team All-Mountain Valley Conference honors after making an immediate impact during her first collegiate season.

The postseason recognition highlights the strength and depth of the Generals roster and reflects the hard work the team displayed throughout the year.
